Well, it’s been a spectacular, awe-inspiring, phenomenal, (and any other adjective you want to throw in) year. Reflecting back on this year, I’m humbled by all the blessings God has bestowed in my life and I can’t wait to see what he has in store for me in 2008!
The show has obviously been THE ULTIMATE HIGHLIGHT, but I have so much more to be thankful for. My wonderful wife and son made the move to LA with me to pursue my big dream of making movies and we are all healthy and happy. I’ve made some great new friends, relationships, and a lot of opportunities!
I want to take this time to personally THANK each and everyone of you who took time out each week to watch “ON THE LOT” and vote faithfully for the KY boy! Without all of your abundant support, I wouldn’t have made it that far in the competition and given the chance to live out my dream! Know that I appreciate you all and will do my best to represent KY well when I get the opportunity to direct future projects!
For a quick update, this whole strike thing is getting a bit tiresome, but I’m staying positive and proactive. Making sure to get my name out there and continuing to rub a few elbows in this big city. When the strike eventually blows over, I hope to come out with my guns blazing, I have a few projects lining up for 2008.! There are four feature film projects that I’m attached to (2 comedies & 2 dramas), and now we just need to secure financing, actors and get the greenlight from a studio. My management company rocks and they have big plans for me next year, check out their new site at www.insomniamedia.com
So, keep an eye out for that marquee, I plan to have a movie coming to a theater near you in 2008! God bless and have a fantastic New Years!!!
